Bill Chien-Ting Lu
Bill's Motto "Help Others to Achieve More."
A team's culture is like a computer's CPU—it drives success. Therefore, I believe the keys are psychological safety, continuous improvement, and co-creation.
I help the team understand the "For Whom" and "For Why." I encourage my teammates to feel completely safe sharing ideas, challenging the status quo, and experimenting with new approaches.
I stay humble and curious, actively listening to diverse perspectives and sharing my knowledge. Together with the team, I continuously learn through feedback and experimentation.
I proactively share information, resources, and the context behind decisions. This allows everyone to see the big picture, actively participate, and make work more enjoyable together.
I believe true empowerment means providing direction and support so teammates can proactively solve problems and make an impact.
I clearly communicate the goals, background, and expected outcomes. Once the team understands the direction, I trust them to use their expertise to determine how to execute the work.
I encourage the team to proactively define problems, test solutions, and learn quickly amidst uncertainty. At the same time, I provide the resources they need to clear roadblocks.
By asking questions and actively listening, I help teammates clarify issues and brainstorm solutions together, allowing us to grow through mutual trust.
Completing a task is only the surface. What matters most is that the result genuinely solves the problem to achieve something greater.
I set clear, challenging, and measurable goals with the team, ensuring our output truly creates value rather than just checking off a box.
I evaluate outcomes using data, user feedback, and team reflections. When facing issues, I focus on finding the root cause and making improvements—never on blaming individuals.
When the team faces challenges, I proactively step in to help. In success, the glory belongs to the team; in setbacks, we weather the storm together.
Bill's Leadership "It has never been about your own success, but about enabling the success of everyone on the team."
